Comunity Programs for Older Adults
The Turner Senior Resource Center (TSRC) offers many types of outreach programs and activities serving older adults.
The Turner Senior Resource Center (TSRC) houses four U-M Health Community Health Services programs that are designed to meet the specialized learning, physical and social needs of older adults and their families: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Silver Club Memory Programs, Turner Senior Wellness Program and the Turner African American Services Council.
TSRC has become an important and visible community resource with a variety of unique programs based in the building. Many of the programs are senior-planned and volunteer-driven. The resource center is a key component of the county’s network of agencies serving the aging.
